We keep Dexter and Belted Galloway Cattle, Traditional Breed Outdoor Reared Pigs, Free Range Chickens & Guinea Fowl plus Dutch Spotted Sheep
We sell our meat direct from the Farm but you can usually find us at Sheriff Hutton Village Market, Thirsk Farmer's Market and Stokesley Maker's Market.

About Our Farm
Walbut House Farm is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds approximately 4 miles from the market town of Pocklington and 12 miles east of the city of York.
Although we are not an organic Farm we try to Farm in a traditional way, which means giving our animals the best life we can. The Cattle are primarily Grass fed with their feed supplemented when necessary with locally grown hay and fodder beet. Our Pigs are fed a specially formulated low protein diet suitable for the slower growing traditional breeds we keep.
We take our animals to a local Non-Religious family run FSA approved abattoir 8 miles away. This means a short last journey for our animals ensuring less stress all round. It also reduces food miles.

We normally open our Pop-up Butcher's at the Farm on the first Saturday of each month from 9am until 12 noon. Check on our Facebook page or phone 01759 318326 to check.
We sell our Dexter Beef, Traditional Breed Pork, Chickens, Lamb, Dry Cured Bacon and Eggs pre-orders are welcome.
We also have frozen beef, pork etc available at all times, please phone to arrange a visit and to check on current availability.
